Orders will be delivered curbside in a large freight truck. The driver will have a pallet jack to assist in moving your delivery. Pallets are 40x48 and weigh up to 3,000 pounds each. Most orders contain at least three pallets of material. The pallets will be lowered and placed on the ground in the street at the end of your driveway. Adequate room should be available for a large freight truck to maneuver.
Deliveries are made curbside with a drop-tail trailer. Delivery trucks will have a lift-gate that will lower the pallets. Drivers will have a pallet jack to help move the pallets once off the truck. We cannot deliver to addresses on gravel roads. Therefore, the delivery truck must unload on concrete or asphalt. Refunds will not be issued for order refusal due to delivery method.
All orders typically leave our facility in 7-12 working days. Once ordered, our office will contact you and give you all the shipping info, tracking numbers and a more specific timeframe.
Once we receive your materials, we will inspect them, notify you that we have received them and provide the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
Customers are responsible for paying shipping costs for returning your materials. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund, the original and return shipping will be deducted from your refund. A 50 percent restocking fee will be deducted from your refund based on the original sales price.
If you have any questions regarding this policy or your dealings with our website, please contact us by email.
The fireplace does not come with a warranty. We are not selling a finished product, just the kit to build it. Materials are guaranteed to be free from defects. Longevity will come down to where the fireplace is built and how it is used. Check the trim stones annually. They may become loose – just re-adhere them. Keep water from undermining the foundation. Visually inspect the firebrick every couple of years.
